The Jazz Club is proud to present a brand new quartet of Salmon Arm musicians. “Blues and the Awkward Truth” has been in the woodshed working up a batch of fresh tunes along with some old favourites, and is now ready to take their efforts to the stage. This collaboration of the young and not-so-young demonstrates the timelessness of the universal language of jazz. In addition to staple swing and Latin feels, the band has worked up some more modern arrangements, all played with the objective of blending tradition with new ideas.
