Our dear friend, fellow musician, gypsy jazz enthusiast and long time jazz club performer and supporter Willy Gaw has been battling cancer for a while now and has recently undergone an emergency operation. There is no doubt that this has been hard on Willy and his family. This Thursday many of his friends and band mates are gathering at the Nexus to perform a concert that will be a fundraiser for Willy and his family. Please come out and show your love and support.

The first set will feature the Jake Verburg/Jordan Dick Quartet with Dan Smith and Gareth Seys. The second set will be all of your favorite Django Reinhardt songs performed by all of your favorite local gypsy jazzers! Many of us wouldn't be playing or listening to this music if it wasn't for Willy's burning passion!
