This week’s show brings a fine group from the Okanagan, led by brilliant, Kelowna-based saxophonist Craig Thomson. You may recall Craig from earlier Jazz Club shows, where he performed the music of saxophone greats Hank Mobley and John Coltrane. For this show, the band will perform the entire album "Go!" by Dexter Gordon. This record is considered by many to be one of Blue Note Records’ best  A few other Dexter tunes will be added to the mix to round out the show.

Craig is a prolific performer, composer, recording artist and educator. He has built a reputation as an outstanding saxophonist who delights audiences with his robust, muscular tenor sound, which is fresh and exciting while maintaining a sense of being richly anchored in the jazz tradition.
