Trombonist Bob Rogers, who taught music in Revelstoke for 25 years, has now retired from teaching and moved to Vernon. For this week’s show, he is joined by local favorites Jordan Dick and Jake McIntyre-Paul.

Bob has been a regular member of the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, and has also performed many times with the Kamloops Symphony and the Symphony of the Kootenays. He is also leader of the Bob Rogers Jazz Quartet, a member of the funk band Majesty, and plays regularly with various ensembles throughout the Okanagan and Kootenays. Before moving to the interior, Bob was active as a freelance musician in Vancouver, performing with many groups there including the West Coast Jazz Orchestra, VEJI, Solid Brass, and artists and bands and artists such as Natalie Cole, the Temptations and the O'Jays, the Victoria Symphony and the Vancouver Opera.
